Privacy policy for playground

This policy covers playground by wavy, the app for iPhone, iPad and Android made by Wavy Industries. Last updated 25 September 2026.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not collect, store or share any personal data, and nothing you do in it is sent to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

The sounds and settings you choose are saved on your phone or tablet so they are there the next time you open the app. They never leave the device, and removing the app removes them.

Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth only to find and connect to your Wavy device, to play the notes it sends and to update its firmware. On older versions of Android, the system requires location permission before an app may scan for Bluetooth devices; the app asks for it for that reason alone and never reads your location.

Network

The app downloads firmware updates and loop packs for your Wavy device from wavyindustries.com. These requests carry no information about you beyond what any web request does, such as your IP address, and we do not use that to identify you.
